“Alpha” Cat Zingano 9-2 MMA (2-2 UFC) has found her fight with undefeated Ketlen “Fenomeno” Vieira 9-0 MMA (3-0 UFC).
Vieira was booked vs former featherweight champ Germaine “The Iron Lady” De Randamie 7-3 MMA (4-1 UFC) for UFC Belem, however De Randamie pulled out due to hand injury. Vieira announced the news soon after the bout was booked saying:
“Guys, I’m here to tell you the fight was cancelled, because my adversary has injured her hand. The strangest thing is that her hand was fine up until two days ago, she even posted a video of her training. Anyway, God knows what he does and I trust his plans for me, because they are better than mine. Thanks everyone for the support, I’ll stay here focusing on training and waiting.”
And as reported by Keith Shillan here.
Now Zingano steps in on her first two fight losing streak, which are the only losses of her career. She has only fought one time a year since 2010 for various personal and professional reasons. The only of her wins that weren’t stoppages however, was back in 2010 vs Barb “Little Warrior” Honchak 10-2 MMA where she took a decision.
UFC 222 takes place on March 3, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nv.
