Yana “Foxy” Kunitskaya (10-3-1NC MMA, 0-0 UFC) is a bantamweight fighter and is currently the Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion. She has had three fights in Invicta FC and he gone 1-1 with 1 NC. She won in her most recent bout for the Vacant Invicta Bantamweight championship which was held at Invicta 25. She beat 6-time Invicta FC veteran Raquel “Rocky” Pa’aluhi (6-6 MMA) via unanimous decision. Kunitskaya’s other two fights both came against former Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion and former UFC Title Challenger Tonya “Triple Threat” Evinger (19-7-1NC MMA, 0-1 UFC). The first meeting went down at Invicta 20, where originally Kunitskaya shocked all the odds by upsetting Evinger by armbar just a minute and fifty-nine seconds into the first round. However the bout was overturned because Evinger put her heel on Kunitskaya’s face. Mike England started warning Tonya about it mid submission, even though the move was legal because she wasn’t landing strikes with the heel, and when incorrectly warned the armbar got too deep resulting her to have no choice other than tapping. An immediate rematch was booked, and Tonya won via second round rear-naked-choke at Invicta 22.
