Just a day after it was announced that Jim Wallhead had pulled out of his UFC Fight Night 118 fight against Warlley Alves, the UFC has found a replacement for him. Combate is reporting that Alves will now face UFC newcomer Salim Touahri on just four days notice.
Touahri is a fighter out of Poland. He is 10-1 and riding a five-fight winning streak.
Alves was the winner of the Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3 season. After winning the show, Alves picked up victories in his next three UFC fights. However, he has lost his last two contests.
Wallhead was scheduled to make his third appearance in the Octagon, where the longtime British veteran was looking to pick up his first win in the UFC. He has lost back to back bouts against Jessin Ayari and Luan Chagas in his brief UFC run so far.
UFC Fight Night 118 is this Saturday in Gdansk, Poland.
