The UFC announced three new fights have been announced today:
Donald Cerrone (32-7), who is coming off a knock out win over Matt Brown, will fight Jorge Masvidal (31-11) on January 28th at UFC FOX 23 Fight Night in Denver. Masvidal, who also is coming off a knock out win earlier in the month, called out Cerrone in the post fight interview.
Cerrone, who is always down for a scrap, stated on Twitter this week that he wanted to fight on the Denver card, and called out anybody in his weight class to fight him. Apparently, Masvidal reached out to the UFC and accepted.
The UFC also announced that former UFC heavyweight champion, Junior dos Santos (18-4) will fight Stefan Struve (32-8) on February 19 at UFC Fight Night 105 in Halifax. The fight was announced as the main event of the card
Lastly, former UFC light heavyweight champion, Vitor Belfort (25-12) will fight Kelvin Gastelum (14-2) on March 11 UFC Fight Night 107 in Brazil. Gastelum, who just beat Tim Kennedy stated that he was planning on moving back to welterweight. However, the UFC booked him in another fight in the middleweight division.
