UFC Fight Cancelled, Other Fights Added

Rashad Evans dream of fighting at Madison Square Garden at UFC 205 was crushed when the New York State Athletic Commission canceled the fight, due to Evans failing the prefight medical tests. The UFC rescheduled Evans fight with Tim Kennedy for UFC 206 on December 10th in Toronto, but it looks like the fight is scrapped again. The Ontario Athletic Commission has denied Evans his fight license. Though Evans was pulled from the fight, Kennedy confirmed to Ariel Helwani that he will remain on the card, and the UFC is looking for a replacement for Evans.

In other news, MMA legend, BJ Penn will make his long awaited return to MMA, when he takes on hot Mexican prospect Yair Rodriguez as the main event of UFC Fight Night 103 on January 15th in Phoenix, Arizona. Penn will be fighting for the first time since losing to Frankie Edgar in July 2014. Rodriguez is currently 5-0 in the UFC, and coming off a main event win over Alex Caceras.
