Tim Kennedy went to Twitter today, trying to find a replacement for Rashad Evans, who he was scheduled to fight o December 10th, in Toronto, Ontario. His choice for a replacement for the former light heavyweight champion, Evans was the former long time middleweight champion and pound for pound king Anderson Silva. Kennedy said to Silva on Twitter, ” I know it’s been a minute since you won a fight. I might be an easy match up. Bad wrestling, horrible striking. #UFC 206″.
Silva accepted a fight with current UFC light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier on less than 48 hour notice, to fill in for Jon Jones at UFC 200 in his last fight.
There is no word yet if Silva has accepted Kennedy’s challenge.
