Sabina Mazo and Nick Newell Added to LFA 35 Card


LFA announced today that two of their biggest stars have been added to their LFA 35 card. Those stars Sabina Mazo and Nick Newell will be featured in the main event and co-main event of the evening.

Sabina Mazo, who is an undefeated fighter out of Colombia, will face off against Argentina’s Silvana Juarez. The two will face off in the main event and fight for the vacant women’s fly title. Mazo will be making her 3rd appearance in the LFA cage.

Newell is a well-known fighter based on being a congenital amputee and comprising a 13-1 professional record. His only career loss was when he challenged Justin Gaethje for the WSOF title. He is currently on a two-fight winning streak but has not fought since October of 2015. He briefly retired from the sport. Newell will face off against Sonny Luque, who has an 8-6 record and has won four out of his last five fights.

LFA 35 is scheduled for March 9th in Houston, Texas.
