Rashad Evans removed from fight with Tim Kennedy (Updated)
Brett Okamoto is reporting that the New York State Athletic Commission has removed Rashad Evans from his fight with Tim Kennedy on Saturday, due to him failing a pre fight medical test. The early word is that Evans is in good healthy, but was pulled for precautionary reasons.
The UFC has not yet commented on the news, nor have they stated if Evans will be replaced by another fighter to fight Evans or will the entire fight be scrapped.
If the fight is scrapped, Tim Boetsch vs Rafael Natal is the most likely fight to be moved from the Fight Pass Prelims to the UFC 205 prelims aired on Fox Sports 1.
Updated: Tim Boetsch announced on Twitter that his fight against Natal has been bumped to the Fox Sports Prelims, which would make it look like Tim Kennedy has been removed from the card.
