Paulie Malignaggi Claims that His Team is in Talks with UFC for Fight with Conor McGregor (Video)
Former boxing champion, Paulie Malignaggi continues to call for a boxing match with UFC lightweight champion, Conor McGregor.
Malignaggi became a sparring partner with McGregor for his preparation for his mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. Malignaggi left the camp after becoming upset when McGregor’s team released a video of McGregor dropping Malignaggi with a punch.
The boxing champion spoke to the press several times demanding a fight with McGregor. The two got into a heated verbal altercation when Malignaggi confronted McGregor before one of his press conferences for the Mayweather matchup.
Even after McGregor lost to Mayweather, Malignaggi has pushed for the fight with McGregor.
Malignaggi is now saying that fight negotiations are starting.
“I know Al Haymon’s talking with Dana White. I know they’re speaking, so if they want the fight, they” make it”, Malignaggi told Fight Hype, ” The only way this fight doesn’t happen is if this guy doesn’t have any balls to make it happen”.
