It doesn’t happen often, but two fighters will collide for the 4th time. Bellator announced that featherweight champion, Daniel Straus will fight against Patricio “Pitbull” Freire for the 4th time. The two will collide on April 21st in Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Freire currently leads the matchup 2 wins to 1, but Straus was able to win the belt in their last fight.
The UFC also announced that two former title contenders will collide. Patrick Cote and Thiago Alves will lock horns on April 4th at UFC 210 in Buffalo, New York. Cote enters the match coming off a loss to Donald Cerrone, while Alves enters the contest after a unsuccessful run at lightweight (which he missed weight for) after losing to Jim Miller.
