It seems Michael Bisping is staying true to his word about wanting to keep fighting and putting the retirement rumors to rest after agreeing to replace Anderson Silva against Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Shanghai. Silva had been flagged by the USADA for a potential violation.
Bisping, coming off an unsuccessful title defense against George St Pierre, will make a quick three week turnaround and try to get back into the win column in an effort to get back in the middleweight title picture. Gastelum has had mixed results since returning to middleweight, getting a win over Tim Kennedy before getting another win over Vitor Belfort overturned due to testing positive for marijuana. His most recent fight was a submission loss to Chris Weidman.
The fighters will headline the event on November 25th.
