Pietro “Pitbull” Menga 13-0 MMA will make his UFC debut at UFC on Fox 26 vs Tim Elliot 14-8-1 MMA (3-6 UFC).
The undefeated Menga made his MMA debut in March 2011 and has since put together 13 straight victories. 11 by stoppage with 8 in the first round. However he hasn’t competed since his July 2016 41 second KO over Spencer “The Hurt Locker” Hewitt 12-11 MMA at Bellator 158. He will be stepping in on short notice to replace the injured Justin “Tank” Scoggins 11-4 MMA (4-4 UFC).
Elliot was first signed by the UFC in 2012 but after going 2-4 in his first 6 bouts he was released. He spent his time well by picking up 3 straight victories outside the octagon during his time with Titan FC. He would then try his hand at the Ultimate Fighter season 24. This season would have the winner getting a shot at current flyweight kingpin Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson 27-2-1 MMA (15-1-1 UFC) at the finale. Elliot would go on to win TUF 24 but lose the title match by unanimous decision. He is coming off a 49 second rear-naked-choke over Ben “10” Nguyen 16-6 MMA (4-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 110.
