Manny Pacquiao claims talks have begun between him and Conor McGregor
Another mega-fight coming Conor McGregor’s way? According to former boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao, initial talks have begun between him and Conor McGregor. Although talks have started, they are only in the first steps of just feeling things out. Still, long ways to go if they are going to make this happen.
According to AFP, via Yahoo.com, on Friday Pacquiao said, “If we can negotiate it, I have no problem. It is OK with both of us.” He also goes on to say that even though they have initiated talks, nothing else has followed up since. Pacquiao also goes on to say that he isn’t limiting his opponents to just McGregor. That he has a list of opponents he would gladly take on when he returns to the ring. Pacquiao goes on to say about his next possible opponent, “It depends on who they can finalize as my opponent by April.
McGregor made big headlines earlier this year when he finalized a deal to take on boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. A match the McGregor lost by TKO in the 10th round. Was also a fight that gave him his biggest payday of over 100 million dollars. This news will for sure keep the rumors floating around if we will ever see McGregor step inside the octagon again.
