Kurt Holobaugh Suspended 9 Months, Win Over Matt Bessett Ruled a No-Contest

The Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) voted unanimously on Tuesday to suspend featherweight Kurt Holobaugh for failure to disclose the illegal use of an IV.

Holobaugh admitted to using the  IV after his weigh-ins for his fight against Matt Bessett for the first episode of the Dana White Tuesday Night Contenders Series.  The NAC has suspended Holobaugh for 9 months, fined him 15% of his fight pay, $150, and overturned his win over Bessett to a No-Contest.

Holobaugh fought once in the UFC, losing to Steven Siler in 2013.
