Bellator announced today that Muhammad “King Mo” Lawal had to withdraw from his Bellator 185 co-main event match against Liam McGeary. The organization stated that he had to be removed from the bout due to an undisclosed injury.
Lawal was coming into the fight off of a unanimous decision win over Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Lawal was scheduled to face Ryan Bader at Bellator 180 back in June but also had to withdraw from that fight due to injury.
Bellator has not yet announced a replacement to face Liam McGeary. McGreary will be looking to rebound off a loss to Linton Vassell.
Bellator 185 is scheduled for October 20th at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
