Kelvin Gastelum has been pulled from his upcoming fight against Anderson Silva after it was announced by USADA that he had tested positive for marijuana. The positive test came from an in-competition drug test collected from when he faced Vitor Belfort at UFC Fight Night 106 on March 11th.
Gastelum has been placed on provisional suspension and forced to withdraw from his upcoming UFC 212 fight against Anderson Silva. Anderson Silva’s camp has stated that he wants to remain on the card. No new opponent has been named at this time. UFC 212 is set to take place on June 3rd.
