Justin Ledet announced on his facebook page that he will be returning to the Octagon soon. He stated that he will be facing Dmitry Sosnovskiy at UFC Fight Night 116 on September 16th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The two undefeated heavyweights were supposed to face each other in February but the fight was canceled due to both fighters getting injured. Following the canceled fight, Ledet received a suspension from USADA due to testing positive for a banned substance. However, Ledet’s suspension was reduced when it was reported (by The MMA Takeover) that Ledet’s positive test was due to a tainted multi-vitamin.
Ledet is a perfect 2-0 in the UFC with wins over Chase Sherman and Mark Godbeer. Sosnovskiy will be making his UFC debut.
