Joanna Jedrzejczyk, former UFC women’s strawweight champion had the opportunity to carry the Winter Olympics torch and represent her home country. The games will take place this February in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Joanna is proud to represent her country and the sport of mixed martial arts. In a recent interview with the Polish radio station Trojka she quotes:
MMA is far from being an Olympic discipline, so it is a great honor for me that I will be able to represent our country on such a huge international arena. That is why I am very happy about that.
The 2018 Winter Olympic games will be held between the 9th and 25th of February in Pyeongchang where 15 different sports will take part.
