The injury bug strikes another UFC card! MMAJunkie is reporting that Jim Walhead has withdrawn from his UFC Fight Night 118 match due to an undisclosed injury. He was scheduled to fight Warlley Alves at this Saturday’s event.
Walhead was scheduled to make his third appearance in the Octagon, where the long time British veteran was looking to pick up his first win in the UFC. He has lost back to back bouts against Jessin Ayari and Luan Chagas in his brief UFC run so far.
Alves was the winner of the Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3 season. After winning the show, Alves picked up victories in his next three UFC fights. However, he has lost his last two contests.
The UFC stated that they are looking for a replacement to face Alves.
UFC Fight Night 118 is this Saturday in Gdansk, Poland.
