Jared “Flash” Gordon (14-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) is on a 2-fight UFC winning streak and a 5-fight MMA winning streak. Gordon was spotted on Dana White “Lookin’ for a Fight” where he won a unanimous decision over Bill “Senor Perfecto” Algeo (9-3 MMA). His UFC debut was supposed to be at featherweight, however Gordon missed weight, coming in at 149 lbs. (3 lbs. over the non title fight featherweight limit). So the bout was moved to catch weight where he won via second round technical knockout over Michel “El Capo” Quiñones (8-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 112. His most recent and second UFC win came against Hacran “Barnabe” Dias (23-6-1 MMA, 3-5 UFC) where he defeated the Brazilian in front of Dias’s home crowd and won a unanimous Decision  at UFC Fight Night 119.

Carlos Diego Ferreira (12-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) has not fought since January 2016, where he won a unanimous decision over Canadian prospect Oliver “The Quebec Kid” Aubin-Mercher (10-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) at UFC on FOX 18. That win broke a 2-fight losing streak for the Brazilian, who suffered a first round technical knockout loss to Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier (22-5-1NC MMA, 13-4-1 NC UFC) at UFC Fight Night 63 and a unanimous decision loss to Beneil “Benny” Dariush (14-3-1 MMA, 8-3-1 UFC) at UFC 179.
