Homasi/Alhassan Re-booked

Rematch At UFC 219

Sabah “The Sleek Sheik” Homasi 11-7 MMA (0-2 UFC) to rematch Abdul “Judo Thunder” Razak Alhassan 8-1 MMA (2-1 UFC) on December 30, 2017.

Homasi has 10 of his wins by stoppage and now on his 2nd two fight skid with his last two losses in the UFC. Homasi was on the wrong end of a too quick for comfort stoppage Saturday night at UFC 218. As soon as the fight was waved off it seemed as if ref Herb Dean knew he had maybe been a little too quick. It was obvious to everyone in the building as well as Joe Rogan and probably most viewers.

Alhassan has all eight of his victories by KO/TKO and all in the first round. His only defeat coming by split decision vs Omari Akhmedov 17-4 MMA (5-3 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 109. The pair will get the chance to put this behind them in what will almost guarantee more fireworks.

UFC President Dana White announced the quick re-booking during the UFC 218 post fight press conference saying:

“That fight has already been re-booked for the end of the year card… official.”

Other bouts on the card include:

Cris Cyborg vs Holly Holm Women’s Featherweight Title bout
