Dana White has announced on ESPN Sportscenter that Georges St-Pierre (25-2) has an opponent for his long awaited return. Some time in the second half of 2017 he will step in the octagon to fight Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping (30-7)
St-Pierre has been out of action since his controversial 2013 victory of Johny Hendricks. Two weeks ago, news broke that St-Pierre reached an agreement. UFC has wasted to time in getting him a fight.
It has not been announced yet what this means for Yoel Romero, who was expected to be the number 1 contender for a championship fight against Bisping.
