Francisco Rivera suspended for 4 years for USADA anti-doping violation

Francisco “Cisco” Rivera (11-7, 1 NC MMA) has received a 4 year suspension from USADA.

Francisco “Cisco” Rivera (11-7, 1 NC MMA) has been suspended for 4 years from a USADA anti-doping violation.

Rivera, 36, tested positive for clenbuterol from a out-of-competition urine sample he provided on July 23rd 2016. He will be engible for a return July 23rd 2020. Rivera, would be 39 years old.

Rivera is 1-5 in his last 6, picking up a 21 second knockout win over Alex “Bruce Leroy” Caceres (13-11, 1 NC MMA). Rivera last fought Erik “Goyito” Perez (17-6 MMA) losing a unanimous decision at UFC 201: Lawler vs Woodley.
