DraftKings UFC 215 Picks

What’s up UFC fight fans! Burchy here with my Underdog, Value, Lock & the New Risky DraftKings UFC 215 Picks.

UFC 215 takes place in Edmonton, Canada this weekend. This card is secretly stacked with some amazing fights. I don’t care what people say about the Flyweight division. They are the most exciting fights to watch! The speed and technique in the division are unreal and we are lucky enough to see two of the very best go at it in Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and Ray Borg. On top of that, we get a second title fight with Amanda Nunes vs Valentina Shevchenko and let’s not forget Neil Magny vs  Rafael Dos Anjos!

J. Stephens $8,200 (vs) G. Melendez $8,000

Now let’s get into this weeks DraftKings UFC 215 Picks.

DraftKings UFC 215 Picks

Underdog Picks

Neil Magny $7,600 – Magny has 6 inches of height and 10 inches of reach on the former lightweight champ Dos Anjos. The physical discrepancies along with Magny’s sneaky strength and talented skill set is enough for me to pick him as an underdog pick. I think it will be too much for the talented Dos Anjos to handle.

Tyson Pedro $7,700 – Pedro has looked very impressive in his two fights since entering the UFC with two first round finishes, one KO, and one submission. The undefeated Pedro is taking on the tough stocky anvil of a man in Latifi. Latifi is known for elite takedown defense and powerful punches. Pedro wins this one if he uses his height and reach advantage and avoids Latifi’s power shots and uses his superior fight IQ to pick him apart and get a finish of his own.

A. Bhullar $7,900 – This one is almost a no brainer underdog pick for me. Henriques two wins have come by submission. His two losses have come by KO. Bhullar a UFC newcomer but is undefeated and has a decorated wrestling career that includes the Olympics. When Henrique can’t his opponent down he is at high risk to get KO’ed. Either Bhullar lands a KO or out grapples Henrique to a decision win.

Value Picks

A. Nunes $8,100 & V. Shevchenko $8,100 – I absolutely love when DraftKings make a title or main event fight with dead even salaries. I won’t provide much technical analysis as I see the fight going very similar to the last one. It all depends on if Shevchenko can do more this time around or if Nunes gasses out in the later rounds. Either way, wjust pick two lineups swapping out these two fighters and you can’t go wrong. The winner should get at least 90+ points.

Sarah McMann $8,900 – I see McMann’s takedown pressure to eventually breaking Vieira who currently has 100% percent takedown defense in the UFC but against lesser competition. The veteran will dictate the pace of the fight and eventually land the takedown and work to a submission either in the 1st or 2nd round.

D. Johnson $9,600 – Mighty Mouse will be a lock for anyone he faces in the Flyweight division until Garbrandt or Dillashaw drop down to challenge him. Granted Ray Borg has a lot of tools to make this is a decent matchup, Johnson has all those tools and then some and all of Johnson’s tools are just on another level. Johnson will get you 90+ points in this one. He’ll need to get 110+ to warrant the salary which he will probably do.

Risky Picks

H. Cejudo – $9,100 – I don’t doubt that Cejudo wins this fight. The only reason I am picking him as the risky pick is that for the salary he has a good chance of not scoring enough points as he could easily just take down Reis a few times and use top control for an easy win. History proves this as Cejudo has only scored more than 76 points in 1 of 4 decision wins inside the octagon. His decision win points have been 106, 76, 66, and 62. That’s not worth wasting $9,100 when there are fighters with a much higher potential for points.

That wraps up my DraftKings UFC 215 Picks.

Use these picks to create a winning DraftKings lineup.
