Bellator Adds Goldberg and Ranello to Broadcast Team
Just a day after Bellator play by play man, Sean Grande announced that he was leaving the organization, Bellator announced that they have signed both Mike Goldberg and Mauro Ranello to multi fight contracts to be part of the commentating team.
President Scott Coker made the announcement, stating both will be part of the Bellator NYC PPV card on June 24th.
Goldberg was the UFC play by play man for over 20 years which ended at UFC 207. He has also called numerous NHL games and had a brief stint with the NFL.
Ranallo spent time being the play by play for both Pride FC and StrikeForce. He spent a brief time with the WWE, and has done NHL hockey. He currently works for Showtime boxing.
It is expected that Bellator will have a three man booth with Goldberg, Ranallo, and Jimmy Smith.
