Alessio Di Chirico KO’s Oluwale Bamgose
Oluwale Bambgose is a Nigerian mixed martial artist who started his professional career in 2013. His first five wins came under the promotion Ring Of Combat. His current record is 9-3 with six knockouts.
Alessio Di Chirico, before joining the UFC, was 9-0 as an amateur and won the International Mixed Martial Arts Light Heavyweight title in July of 2014. He primarily fought in European promotions as an amateur before the UFC eventually signed him.
Di Chirico came out and controlled most of the first round from the center of the octagon. There was not much action from either fighter in the first round. Even the crowd started booing. Towards the 2 minute mark of round 1, Bamgose attempted a back leg kick to the head but was stopped and taken down by Di Chirico. In the last 10 seconds of round 1, Bamgose went for a takedown but was denied by Di Chirico.

Start of the second round was more of the same. Dancing and not much action. Then Di Chirico pressed forward and got Bamgose in the clinch. Di Chirico missed his first attempt with his knee but landed his 2nd attempt clearly to the head of Bamgose. It was over right there and then. Di Chirico KO’s Bamgose with a knee to the head.
