Anthony “Rumble” Johnson to Return to MMA; Fight at Heavyweight?

Anthony “Rumble” Johnson shocked the MMA world when he announced his retirement after his loss to Daniel Cormier at UFC 210. However, Johnson’s manager, Ali Abdel-Aziz was a guest on the MMA Hour and stated Johnson might be coming out of retirement.

Abdel-Aziz stated that he and Johnson have a scheduled meeting with UFC President, Dana White. He said that are gonna negotiate Johnson’s return to fightingHe stated that if Johnson does return to fighting, he plans on competing in the heavyweight class.

Johnson left MMA to purse a career in the marijuana business.

Johnson has competed at heavyweight once when he defeated Andrei Arlovski at WSOF 2.
