Anderson Silva Says He Will Retire If He Doesn’t Get Interim Title Shot

Anderson Silva, who is considered by many as the greatest MMA fighter of All-Time made some waves today. Silva was a guest on the MMA Hour and was fired up. Silva, who was ¬†scheduled to fight at UFC 212 against Kelvin Gastelum, wants a particular replacement after Gastelum was removed from the contest due to testing positive for marijuana. Silva, said that he will retire from the sport if he doesn’t fight Yoel Romero for the interim middleweight title at UFC 212.

In his second language Silva stated “The guys no give this fight for me for the interim belt, I’m done. I’ll go be with my family. I’m done”

During the interview, Romero called into the show and agreed with Silva. He said “I fight only with Anderson for the interim belt”

If the fight takes place, Silva would enter the contest off a controversial win over Derek Brunson, while Romero would enter the contest off a knock out win over Chris Weidman.
