MMAFighting is reporting that Combate Americas signed current WBO bantamweight champion, Amanda Serrano to a multiple year contract.
Serrano is a 29-year-old boxer out of Puerto Rico. She has compiled a record of 34-1-1 with 26 knockouts. She made history by being the only woman boxer to win five different world titles in five different weight classes.
The organization and Serrano did not state when she will make her organizational debut, but she could be fighting as early as March. Serrano will reportedly continue to compete in boxing while fighting in MMA.
